Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and BetKika. They cover who may hold an account, how a bet is accepted, how it is settled, when it is void, how money moves, and what happens when something goes wrong. Opening an account means accepting them.
Who may hold an account
You must be at least 21 years old. This is stricter than the legal minimum of 18 that applies in Cameroon, and it is enforced at registration and again on our servers.
You must be acting for yourself. One person may hold one account, and an account may not be operated by, shared with or transferred to anyone else.
You are responsible for knowing whether betting is lawful where you are. If it is not, do not open an account here.
Employees of BetKika and people who can influence the outcome of an event they would be betting on may not bet on that event.
Your account
Register with accurate details. An account opened with false information may be closed and its bets voided, and we may withhold a withdrawal until identity is confirmed.
Keep your password to yourself. Bets placed from your account are your bets; if you believe someone else has access, change the password and tell us at once.
We may ask you to verify your identity before paying a withdrawal. This is a condition of paying out, not an optional extra, and we will tell you exactly what we need.
You can ask us to close your account at any time and we will pay out any withdrawable balance. We may close an account ourselves for the reasons set out in these terms, and we will tell you which one applies.
How a bet is accepted
A selection in your bet slip is not a bet. A bet exists only when our server has accepted it and it appears in your betting history with a reference. Until then nothing has been staked.
We may refuse a bet. The usual reasons are that the price has moved, the market has closed, the fixture has started, the stake is outside the limits for that market, or the bet would exceed a liability cap. A refused bet takes no money.
The price that applies is the price at the moment the server accepted the bet, not the price displayed when you tapped it. If the price moved in between, the bet is refused rather than settled at a price you did not choose.
Betting on a fixture closes at kick-off. Our prices are pre-match, and a market still visible on a running match is there so you can follow the score, not so you can bet into a known result.
Stakes, limits and payouts
Stakes, returns and limits are in Central African CFA francs. Minimum and maximum stakes, maximum odds and maximum payout apply per market and are enforced on our servers on every bet.
A maximum payout cap applies. Where a winning bet would return more than the cap, the return is the cap. The cap is shown with the market rather than discovered after the event.
We accept singles, multiples and system bets. In a multiple, a void selection is settled at odds of 1.00 and the rest of the bet stands; it does not void the whole slip.
How bets are settled
Bets are settled from the official result of the event, taken from the sports data we use, once that result is confirmed. Settlement is automatic and runs from verified results only.
Unless the market says otherwise, football markets are settled on the result at the end of ninety minutes plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalties do not count towards a market settled on normal time.
If a result is later officially corrected or overturned by the competition, we may resettle the affected bets to match the corrected result.
If a bet is settled in error, we may correct it. That includes taking back a payout credited by mistake. We will tell you what was corrected and why rather than adjusting a balance silently.
When a bet is void
A bet is void and the stake returned when the event does not take place, is abandoned before it is complete, or is postponed beyond the period the market covers.
A bet is void where the market was offered on an event that had already started or already finished, or where the teams, participants or fixture shown were materially wrong.
A bet is void where it was accepted at an obviously incorrect price. This is a palpable error, and it means a price that could not have been a real offer, not a price that turned out to be generous.
A void bet returns the stake. It is not a loss and it is not a win.
Deposits and withdrawals
Deposits are made by mobile money and are credited when the operator confirms the payment. A deposit is credited once no matter how many times a payment callback arrives.
Withdrawals are paid to the mobile money account you hold. We may decline a withdrawal to a different person's account, because that is what money laundering looks like.
Deposited funds are for betting. Depositing and immediately withdrawing without betting is not a service we provide, and we may decline it.
We do not pay interest on a balance, and a balance is not a deposit account.
Fair use, fraud and abuse
Do not use software to place bets, exploit a pricing error at scale, open multiple accounts, or collude with other customers to get round a limit. Where we find it, we may void the bets involved, close the accounts and withhold winnings derived from it.
Bonuses and free bets carry their own conditions, published with the offer. Claiming a promotion through duplicate accounts or in a way its conditions exclude forfeits it.
We keep the stake in a voided bet obtained by fraud only where the law allows us to; otherwise a void returns the stake, whatever we think of how the bet was placed.
Availability and errors
We do not promise the site is always available. Matches, prices, statistics and live scores can be delayed, wrong or missing because a data source failed, and we do not accept a bet as valid because a broken page displayed it.
Where our published information conflicts with the official result of an event, the official result decides.
We may change these terms. A change that materially affects an existing bet does not apply to that bet. The date at the foot of this page is when it last changed.
Complaints and disputes
If you disagree with how a bet was settled, raise it through the contact form. It becomes a ticket with a reference, and we will explain the settlement against the official result rather than restate the rule.
Bring a complaint about a settlement within a reasonable time of it happening, while the evidence for the event still exists.
BetKika does not hold a gambling licence and does not claim one, so there is no licensing authority to escalate a complaint to. We would rather state that than point you at a regulator that has no jurisdiction over us.
Responsible gambling
Nothing on this platform is a guaranteed win. Odds express a probability and a margin; they do not promise an outcome.
If betting is causing you harm, the responsible gambling page explains what is available and how to stop. A request to close an account is always honoured and never requires a reason.
